That's exactly the way i do this, it seems good to me, too, to have a fixed slow metronome tempo like 60. And the vary the playing tempo. Quintuples are always a challenge :-)

Yes that works well. Now I changed to 5min every day play 1 same note to slow metronome, for better being in time. 1/4, 1/8, 1/12, 1/16
