I am already paying 2 substacks ( I noticed you read Ted Gioia- he's paid best 100 music snippets for 2022 exposed a very eclectic ( not jazz exclusive) list. Worth paying it just for that.
Substack is becoming expensive- that's why defunct specially magazines were attractive. You can get a bunch of favourite article styles and technical guidance.
And yes, individual taken sound not much . Add 4-6 substacks and it's getting on a stringed budget. Look how many paid ones the payees have to get my angle.
I am it may work as a easy, no editorial nightmare and months of wait. No denial. And it's an easy income stream setup. The price scale becomes steep for readers.
An analysis on 6/9 improvisational, not behind a paywall. Levine has something, but if you can get specific from your perspective.
Suggestion - there's some flexible affordability ones out there - based on an honour system income.
I noticed, personally, I always somehow end up with Bill Evans on after a week or two of fluctuating meandering. I am fairly hectic and depends on the day, week, mood , recent listening .
Keith Jarett - megalomaniacally
Brad Mehldau
Brad is incredible. What is your favorite album ?

Monk, Coltrane - motivic
Montgomery- melodically
last one rarely listened after being phased by his disdain to paying concert goers - He's good improvisator though. Despite mumbling too much.
Right :)
Miles Davis - sparsely
Jaco Pastorious - as in surprisingly
It's so difficult to pick only one artist!
True . But if I will be forced somehow, to have to listen somehow to just one for the rest of my life. Bill Evans.
Hard to pick an album ( any with Motian?). But I'll take Undercurrent gladly too ( Jim Hall is another " comfort soul food listening ")
Here's a pretty rare bootleg with Motian! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNy9mBNIuCY
Appreciated. Was a treat. Didn't know that one.
Harmonically
Bill Evans
In love with Evans. I constantly listen to the album "Undercurrent", with Jim Hall. I'm sure you know it. All the best.
Jim Hall!
Great Massimo. What is your favorite album by Hall?
Bill evans and ahmad jamal
Merci Stéphane! Quel bon choix :-)
Didn't know, it's on air right now!
Great tune
Only one, tricky question! Nevertheless I would say: Wayne Shorter, always loved his work with Weather Report
I’ve practiced endlessly on the tune called Fee Fi Fo Fum. You know it?
Great choice. He's a true master
Wes Montgomery .Stan Getz
