John Scofield Clinic 1995

Berklee Performance Center

Dear friends,

Here’s another private recording of a John Scofield clinic (captured with my beloved (and lost) Sony WM-D6C Walkman Professional) that took place at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston in (maybe) 1995, or 1994..

I’ll try to find some additional information soon.

The only thing I remember very very clearly about that day is how much it impacted all of us. We were so touched by John’s presence and all the great ideas he shared with us.

At 41:59 you can hear John giving a voice to a student that asks: “Could you please play something for us?” Beautiful.

The introduction is made by Gary Burton.

Enjoy! :)
