This is a masterclass held by Joe Diorio that I’ve recorded (I guess) in 1995 when I was at Berklee College of Music.
It was captured with my old Sony tape recorder, so the quality is not so good (better to use headphones).
The recording is divided into 3 parts: a first part where Joe plays a few standards, a second (starting at 16:22) where he talks and answers questions asked by us, and a last part where he plays one of his compositions (at 41:00)
Joe Diorio passed away on February the 2nd 2022.
He was a guitar legend and a beautiful human being. A true artist. One of a kind.
