Triads on a I-VI-II-V progression

Dear friends,

Here’s a very simple exercise you can try, if you are want to start improving the knowledge of triads, in the context of a turnaround.

BbMaj7 | G7 alt |Cm7 |F7 |

You can start with the basic triad of Bb (Bb D F), on strings 4 3 2. Then you play the closest inversions of the triads of G major, C minor and F major on the same set of strings.

You can repeat the exercise all over the neck.
