A little reminder about tensions on 7° chords
If a 7° chord lands on a minor chord, you should always add tension b9 or tension b13 to it. Eventually tension #9 too, or a combination of all of them.
If a 7° chord lands on a major chord, you should use tension 9, 11 or 13, as a first choice, but also the ones from the minor field, in order to create more tension.
Exemple:
G7 > Cm7
